When I first started shooting photography, it was a distant dream to one day have Mitchell rocking video alongside me. Luckily for our couples, he has BLOOMED in this craft over the last year! We are so heckin’ excited to be able to offer wedding videography! Hiring a photo and video team is a huge benefit and allows us to tell your story in a way that feels authentic to the day!

1. Seamless Communication

The fact is, photographers are always more involved in the planning stages. We’ll often have a deeper relationship with the couple and be in regular contact with the venue and/or coordinator. After seven years of partnership, I am an expert at relaying all of this information to Mitchell! Having us as a photo and video team means you have one less vendor to relay info to! We have a foolproof system for staying out of the other’s shots throughout the day. We also both understand the needs of photo and video in order to deliver the best possible memories to you! 

2. We Work Together But Also Simultaneously

Anytime I’m directing movements or interactions between the two of you, Mitchell will be alongside me filming the sweetness of you joking around and whispering a favorite taco topping in your hunnie’s ear. You won’t have to repeat poses which means you’re experiencing a more natural flow of the day and you can spend more time with guests! 

3. Consistency

Our photos are full of candid, soulful, and authentic moments and you can expect the same from our films! We also share a similar journalistic shooting style and know when to offer direction but also when to step back to allow the day to unfold organically. The warm, vibrant editing style you love about the photos will also be applied to the films! 

4. It’s Basically a Double Date

You’ll spend more time with your photographer and videographer on the wedding day than some of your guests! Over the years, I’ve worked with a couple videographers who didn’t share my vision, tried to control the timeline, or ended up in my shots. Mitchell and I work weddings together constantly which means he knows exactly where I like to stand to capture the first kiss, my flow for photographing the bridal party, and how I jump into the dancing fun for great shots during the reception. Because we are madly in love, we’ll help each other out throughout the day and joke around, therefore, helping you to feel at home with us! The more relaxed you are with us, the better we can capture the day!
